Kah’s passion started at a very tender age when he was a pupil at Dandora primary school.He teamed up with Brian Kodhek to form Warogi Wawili, they did their first single in 1999 - Mpaka Saa Ngapi with then veteran producer Ted Josiah.

The single became an instant hit in the local waves, and they went on to perform at various venues around the country.The song was part of a compilation album Kenya Second Chapter, where some of the artists were names like Gidigidi, Majimaji,Nazizi, Intu among others.

Mcee Kah launched his solo career in the 2001, after Warogi wawili split up due to ideological differences.He started working on his debut album simultaneously working for a community project in Dandora.In 2003, he released Dandora Love, feat Zakah and Kabee which took air by storm.In 2004, Kilio Cha Haki, a compilation album featuring 38 rap artists from Eastland’s of Nairobi, was in the pipeline.
